Ethiopian Guji - Natural
Naturally processed, these arabica beans from the Guji zone in Ethipia bring the fruit forward! Lots of sweet red fruit notes upon first splash on your tongue and settles into a lovely nutty and chocolate undertone. Distinctly floral at lighter roasts, this cup of java is complex and smooth.
Our roasting suggestion: Light to Dark; light to medium acidity.
Notes:
Light; bright citric hints that complement the floral and fruity side.
Medium; sweetness from that of berries - think blueberry or strawberry with a nutty undertone that gives way to chocolate as the cup cools.
Dark; Losing most of the floral, this roast will bring out much more cocoa profiles but still keep some hints of fruit and roasted nut.
